The Inglis Yankeetown Lions Club is located in Yankeetown, Florida. Yankeetown is a small town on Florida's western Gulf Coast known for it's tree lined streets, quiet lifestyle and the Withlacoochee River. Inglis Yankeetown Lions Club was chartered in 1971. Our meetings are the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of each month and start at 7pm. Our Club funds or sponsors projects for the betterment of our community, such as: •Eye exams and glasses for those who need help acquiring them; •Southeastern Guide Dogs; •Florida Lions Conklin Center - a training center for handicapped individuals; •North Florida Lions Eye Foundation; •Yankeetown School; •Scouting; •Other needs in the community as they arise.
